Our app may use your device’s camera & photo gallery to verify that a real person is creating or accessing an account. This is done through on-device face detection. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any face data. All verification data is processed locally and discarded immediately after use.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Improve our services and user experience
• Match you with other users based on your preferences
• Communicate with you regarding your account and customer support
• Ensure the security and integrity of our platform
• Display your approximate location to other users when you manually check in (never automatically or in the background).

We may share minimal information with service providers where necessary to operate the app (e.g., cloud hosting), subject to appropriate safeguards and agreements.

We retain your data for as long as your account remains active. If you choose to delete your account, your personal information will be permanently removed from our systems, except where retention is required by law.

Because Twogether allows users to share profiles and messages, we take the following measures to protect our community:

• Content Filtering: Automated tools (keyword filtering and moderation checks) help prevent objectionable or harmful material from being posted.
• Reporting: Users can report inappropriate or abusive content directly within the app.
• Blocking: Users can block other users at any time to stop interactions.
• Moderation: Reported content is reviewed, and necessary actions (such as removal of content or suspension of accounts) are taken within 24 hours.

8. Subscriptions and Payments (Apple In‑App Purchases)

Twogether offers certain premium features through auto‑renewable subscriptions purchased via Apple In‑App Purchases (IAP) on iOS.

• Merchant of record: Purchases are processed by Apple. Charges are billed to your Apple ID.
• No card storage: We do not collect or store your full payment information.
• Auto‑renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID may be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel: You can manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions or from your App Store profile.
• Receipt validation: We may collect and process purchase receipts and related identifiers provided by Apple (e.g., transaction ID, product ID, subscription status) to validate your entitlement, detect fraud, and provide your paid features.
• Refunds & billing issues: Refunds are handled under Apple’s policies. For billing questions or refunds, please contact Apple Support.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are made, we will notify users through the app or via email. Continued use of Twogether after updates constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
